What is ZapPlay?

ZapPlay is a scoring system for competitive-socializing venues. One small box per lane runs the games, the TV scoreboard, and the lane-side tablet for axe throwing, bowling, darts, ice curling and American tejo.

Does it need internet to work?

No. Every lane scores locally and keeps working through any outage. Internet is only used for fleet updates, league sync and reporting — never for play.

What hardware do I need?

A TV per lane, a small lane box (we spec it), and any tablet or phone for scoring. Automated scoring hardware — IR frames, pinsetter integration — is optional and can be added later.

Can it run leagues?

Yes — leagues are built in. Compose a season from format, standings, playoffs and schedule; run it weekly or as a one-day event; players follow live standings on a shareable public page.

How do updates work?

Lanes update themselves overnight when idle. New games and features ship to your whole floor automatically — no visits, no downloads, no downtime during opening hours.

Can I run different sports at one venue?

Yes. Each lane is configured for its sport, and one venue can mix axe lanes, dart boards, curling sheets and more — all managed from one portal with combined reporting.
